What’s in my Makeup bag?

Hello everyone. How are you all doing today? For today’s post, I wanted to show you all what I have in my makeup bag. I keep all my go to products in here ready for whenever I decided to put on some makeup if I’m going out or just fancy putting some on. I will leave links to all the products below so feel free to check them out if you want to.Starting with the makeup bag itself, I had my eye on this particular one for a while. I am obsessed with the Disney x Skinnydip range and I love the Thumper range. I think it is super cute and I just love it. I have the Thumper Disney x Skinnydip phone case on my phone and I really wanted to get the matching makeup bag to go with it. And then my Grandma got it me for my 17th birthday and I was so happy. I couldn’t believe it. It is a partially transparent makeup bag with a holographic design and it has pictures of Thumper and flowers scattered all around it. And it has the classic Skinnydip logo on the front in gold. It is so cute- I absolutely adore it! From Skinnydip, the makeup bag is £15.

Now moving onto the makeup products. We will start with primer. I currently use the Rimmel London Fix and Protect Primer which is £6.99 from Boots. I can definitely tell a difference in how my makeup looks from when I was younger and I didn’t put primer on before applying my foundation compared to now when I always put some on. It makes it look so much better. Missing out one step can make it look so much different. I would now never not do my makeup without applying primer beforehand.

Next, we have foundation. I actually struggle finding good foundations as it never matches my skin tone. I currently use the Collection Foundation as it was the foundation which matches the best. I haven’t wore makeup since they rebranded so I will probably have to try and find out my shade again or hopefully find an even better match. The Collection Lasting Perfection Foundation gives you coverage for up to 16 hours which is great! I think it applies really well and I really like it. It is £6.49 from Boots.

Concealer now, and this is my best friend. I carry it around with me everywhere! If I have any spots or a minor blemish, I put on a bit of concealer and it’s all gone! I use the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer which is £4.19 from Boots. I think it is amazing and would definitely recommend this concealer to anyone. It is so good.

Moving onto eye shadow now. I remember asking for this palette for my 15th birthday and my Mum got it me. It is the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. Omg I just adore it! I use all the colours as it is my style, I love the palette. It is my favourite by far! I am just obsessed! Out of them all, I think my favourite shade would be Burnout. I remember when I did my makeup every day, this would be my go to shade.

Then to complete my eyes, I use mascara. I always use the Maybelline one and it is £8.50 from Boots. It really is a great mascara. I never really used it that often but when I do I loved it. I love the rose gold bottle as it is my favourite colour.

The final makeup product I keep in my makeup bag is a liquid lipstick. I tend to go for a very neutral, nude colour. I love the Rimmel London stay matte liquid lipstick as it is such a lovely colour. I am looking into trying one of the Morphe liquid lipsticks so I might treat myself to one soon. The lipsticks from Rimmel London are £5 from Boots.

To be able to apply all of my makeup, I need my brushes and blenders. I do have a travel pot which I use to keep all of my brushes in, but the ones I would use on a regular basis I keep in my makeup bag. I love the Real Technique brushes. I always use the eyeshadow brushes and want to get some more! So I keep them in here. Then when I’m putting on foundation or concealer, I use my beauty blenders. I got a pink set from Primark a couple of years ago which blend my makeup amazingly. When it comes to brushes and blenders, I would definitely recommend getting a gift set as they’re great. You can get all kinds of mixed sets or sets specifically for the eyes or face. You can look at them in stores or online and find the one that is perfect for you.

And that is everything I keep in my makeup bag. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post. What is your favourite makeup brand or product? I definitely need to get some new makeup as I haven’t wore any in a while and definitely want to try some new looks out at some point. Maybe there will be an updated makeup collection post coming soon? If there are any posts you would like to read in the future, please leave your suggestions in the comments below. I would love to hear from you. You can also follow me over on Instagram and Twitter for more updates throughout the week.

But that’s all from me today. I hope you all enjoyed reading today’s post and I will see you on Sunday for my next post. Have a lovely week and I’ll see you soon!

Lots of love,

Stacey xxx
