June Favourites

Hey everyone, I hope you are all okay. How has your week been? As we are in July (which is still crazy to think that we’re seven months into the year,) I thought I would do my first ever monthly favourites post. I have had a lot of new things in June which I have loved using and wearing so I thought why not share them all with you. I will be leaving the prices and links to everything as I go through them so feel free to check them out. I will mention that there are some products that currently don’t have any links available at the minute. However, when the links are back and can be used, I will update my post and put them in for you.

Starting with clothes, I’m going to show you all this really cute playsuit I got. It is from Pretty Little Thing and it cost £12. I wanted some new outfits for summer, and this was definitely at the top of my list. I love the tassels that flow all the way around the bottom of the playsuit. It is super comfy and is overall a great buy. I can’t wait to wear this so much more! It is in a halterneck style, so a lot of back is shown but it is so pretty to wear. Pretty Little Thing also do this playsuit in white.

Next, we have this cute ash grey cropped jumper. I wanted a jumper that would be suitable for spring and summer when it’s warm. It’s something that I could have with me if it became cooler at night. This tends to happen more when we’re on holiday when we go out. On the way back to the caravan, it always turns cool and I’m left shaking like a leaf until we get back inside. So I am hoping this will help. I got it in the colour ash grey and I’m hoping to also get it in either black, white or burgundy as I love it so much and don’t have any jumpers in these colours. Again, it is so comfy to wear and is so cute. I will add that compared to the online pictures, the body of the jumper is much smaller but I still really like it. And the sleeves are quite baggy but overall this is a lovely jumper especially for the spring and summer months ahead of us. This was £15 from Pretty Little Thing and like I have previously mentioned, they do it in a few other colours too.

One of my favourite YouTubers is Saffron Barker, so when she announced that she was bringing out a collection with In The Style I knew I had to get a few bits. I loved everything she had designed. Everything was so nice and summery. It was a great thing to come up with. Originally, she was bringing out a summer collection (which is out now if you want to check it out) but regarding lockdown, she also came up with her own loungewear range. And I am so glad she did. The first this I got was this oversized coral tie dye hoodie which was £25. I love the colour combinations together. It is so pretty and it really brings out those summer vibes.

To go with this, I got myself the coral crop top which was £15. Again, I love the style of it and the gorgeous coral colour. This definitely screams summer. It isn’t too cropped either which makes it really nice. It’s such a casual top and can be styled really nicely with anything. I would definitely wear this top with a pair of either black and blue denim shorts. I really like it a lot.

The final piece I got from Saffron’s collection was these shorts which were £18. I love wearing shorts all spring and summer long and I always were short pyjamas to bed as they’re so much comfier. You just can’t go wrong with a pair of shorts. These match the design of the hoodie which I think is so cute. They are quite big around the waist for me so I would definitely size down in them however, the size I got was actually the smallest size available. But the shorts can be tied which I am very happy about. It is a little disappointing that there are no smaller sizes to these clothes from the range as everything is a little too big for me but I still love it all. The range goes from a 6 to 24 which is amazing as it reaches out to everyone.

The next two tops I got came in a pack together. I have this basic crop top in grey and I love it so much. I wear it all the time as it is one of my favourites. Pretty Little Thing do so many other colours in this top which I want to get at some point. Each of these tops are £5 which is a great price for a top of such good quality but in the pack of two I got, they were £8 saving you £2 buying them separately. The two coloured tops in this pack are black and white. Two very casual colours which I am happy about. I want to get the baby pink one next as it is super cute. Overall, I love these crop tops from Pretty Little Thing. The price is amazing for them and if you want both the black and white top, getting them in this pack is such a great value for money!

My Mum bought me this top not long ago from NewLook. It is a white top with a pair of camouflage lips designed on the front. I think this is so cute. I love the print on the front with the hint on pink mixed into the grey camouflage pattern. And the text around the lips matches up so nicely. I think this is so pretty and it is nice to go out in. The top was £6.99 so again, another great price.

Moving on from clothes, here we have some facial sun cream, I have previously used this sun cream before however, Bodyshop have recently changed the formula so I was super excited to try it out. There are two different sizes that you can get. I have the 40ml bottle which is £18 and then you can get the 60ml bottle which is £22. The 40ml bottle does last me a long time though. I love how this sun cream is light on my skin and doesn’t feel or look oily after applying it. It has a SPF of 50 and it is also vegan friendly which is amazing.

The final thing on my June favourites list is another product from The Bodyshop. It is this strawberry scented shower gel. I absolutely love everything that is strawberry scented at The Bodyshop. It smells so good it is unreal! A few months ago, I started having really bad reactions to most of my shower products. I had used this shower gel before, but it was years ago, so I decided to give it another try in the hope that it wouldn’t give me a bad reaction like all my other products did. And to my surprise, I was fine. I have never swapped back to anything else since. My skin doesn’t become red or itchy like it did before, and now I’m left smelling lovely and feeling so clean afterwards. I use the 250ml bottle which is £5.50 but there are other sizes you can get. If it’s your first time trying it, you can get the 60ml bottle which is £2 or if you’re a lover of this shower gel and use it all the time like me, you can get the 750ml bottle for £15. There are so many different scents to choose from. They do: satsuma, coconut, pink grapefruit, mango, British rose, fugi green tea, moringa and olive.
